A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Ralph suggested trying that wash out hair spray color. Think we could spray their wings orange? Sure wish we could design little flack jackets!

That would be a thing to try but if the color throws them, that would be bad lol. Imagine all of them panicking and trying to attack it off of each other while trying to wash it back off lol

Charlie didn't like when I wore flannel the other day.
I did read that turkeys have excellent vision and can see the phosphorus from your laundry soap in your clothes. I think like seeing in black light but in the day...
Loved the YouTube video Aurora! And the vests are still a good idea just need fine tuning!

Thank you :)

LOL! Your right Aurora! Could be a mass turkey riot!! I've heard of chickens, especially roosters, reacting to different clothing colors and even different shoes. But I've never had reactions like that in my flock. Chickens or turkeys. They seem to not care what I'm wearing. Or what any visitors are wearing. Maybe some fowl have better fashion sense than others? :D
Shame we don't live closer. Daisy is so layed back she might be a good model for test fits!

She's so sweet :) I just managed to get Eve and Pebbles off my lap lol. While on the subject of colors and fashion, painted nails must be a turkey aproved color! I let my daughter paint my nails the other night, terquois blue. Most of the girls are just content to peck at them but Pebbles considers them an abomination and is determined to rip my nails from my fingers! Heck, she'll take the entire tip of my finger off! I literally have to hide my nails from her right now. Once she sees them, she actively hunts them. Eve on the other hand wants to get them but not hurt them. I managed to get her dizzy yesterday, running in circles chasing my fingers around lol

Yea, everytime I paint my nails they go nuts too,

Every day I learn something new about turkeys.... clothing colors, nail polish - all these fun things to try out to see what happens :) I do know that mine want to remove my earrings, so I've stopped wearing jewelry around them - the little troublemakers!

Oh the earrings! I don't wear them to begin with but my daughter never takes them out...but Eve takes them out for her everytime she picks her up lol. She's learned not to play with the turkeys until her earrings are out!

I learned a lesson today too. Don't tease the turkeys! I was teasing them and playing with them since they were chasing my fingers so much. Well, I looked away for a second and as soon as I looked back, Pebbles got me, right in the nose! I guess she got mad and thought I deserved it. I had a nose bleed for about a half hour and it was really heavy at first. I won't be doing that again!
