They were black socks. I don't think he got the reaction out of me that he wanted as he seemed kinda surprised by the kick that his actions produced.

When it is raining and the weather is generally poopy, like yours is, you should not drive the kids to the bus stop. Make them walk, it will do them good to go through some trials by mother nature.   Besides no sense you getting wet when your not the one needing to go to school. If they complain, just tell them,  "it big fast inhales to be you".

Getting around the BYC censor and not using the words I want to is getting harder and harder.

If only it were that easy lol. The bus stop is about a half mile away, up a steep hill, surrounded by woods in which reside bears, fishers, mink, coyotes, and hunters. My kids are 8 and 10 years old and the bus comes at 7:10 when it's still dark out. So, as much as I'd love to tell them to walk while I go back to bed, that won't be happening lol

You have to remember that when Ralphie was still in grade school he had to walk ten miles to school in his barefeet, up hill both ways through 16 ft of snow.

I walked 10 miles up hill both ways to school in blizzards when I was a kid.......
