A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Sure is quiet around here this morning!

Feedman....did your eggs arrive?

Ralph/Aurora...whats hatching?

Chaos....would love pictures of your new turkeys

Bright and sunny day here.  yipee

I have pips in the hatcher! There are 26 turkey eggs in there and then Pebbles has her 4 eggs due at the same time. One was scratching and tapping this morning. Not sure if any of hers pipped yet though. I'm TRYING to leave her alone. Tough lol

No, no. As much as I hate to have chicks eaten, It is better than me having to kill them and throw them in the garbage.

That is one of the reasons that I am not really wanting an autosexing breed. I sell my chicks as straight run and rarely have extra roosters to deal with. Last year I never got to have a pot of chicken noodle soup because I just didn't have any extra roosters to eat.

Be aware, most prefer them to be already dead and frozen (from what they've told me). I was feeling around about it a couple months ago to see if there would be interest and what people would consider a fair price. I was told that dead, frozen, $1 each. Live, 50 cents. Thoughts may be different in your area though, who knows.
