That's also why most antibiotics do not work on Mycoplasma. Penicillin, for example, breaks the cell wall... Nothing to break on the Mycoplasma bacterium. The few that do "work" only put it into stasis by messing with the DNA.It is a primitive bacteria, it has a cell membrane but no wall, making it act somewhat like a virus yet not. Most bacteria are defeated in the body by breaking the cell wall. The bacteria then dies.

So they'd let you keep selling even though other birds in your flock tested positive? That makes no sense.The toads will be ok, The State Vet says if I destroy the turkeys. The chickens are not required to be tested as they assume they all have it.
I have problems, morally, with this approach, but they write the rules.
On that note I have 11 turkey eggs hatching Friday...They may never even get a chance to draw a breath of fresh air..
And I just put 13 toad eggs into the incubator. 13 eggs is the least amount I have ever put into the incubator.
