The midgets have got to be the most aggressive birds on the property. They fight non stop.

any of you remember the heavyweight boxing match in 82 between Randall "TeX" Cobb and Larry Holmes? The midget's heads look like Cobb's did at the end of the fight.

I was so mad at the refs for not stopping that fight. Holmes didn't want to hit the poor guy anymore.

Got another question for the folks out here. What are your thoughts about crows? I had to toss a lot of eggs over the last couple weeks, so they went into compost. I've got a half dozen crows that have been following the new kids around chowing on the left over food when they move. Now they've moved into the compost pile and keep digging up the eggs. They don't seem to be hurting anything, other than giving me an extra chore and they don't get close enough to the babies to give them bugs. Should I leave them be or motivate them to move on?

crows hate hawks and drive them away.... may take an egg once in a while as payment though
