A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I am not a huge cat fan, however, if it is a choice between rodents or cats, I take cats. These are great cats, I seldom if ever touch them, they never touch me or want to be touched. They take my measly offerings of milk and food in exchange for killing rodents..

What could be better?
Rats that would move to the neighbors like I asked them to do.

They don't listen to me either... eviction process in progress...

Well, I put the last of my turkey eggs and a load of dux into lock down today. My candling skills are somewhat lacking--but I think I have a lot of late term death. I only had 7 bug eyed babies with movement. I'm hoping more are viable and will see on Friday. I'm going to set another 72 dux on Thursday and that will be my last hatch for the year.:fl:fl:fl

R2, You'd love the crazy color pattern on my Hamburg/IL crosses (sneaky little bugger). Imagine lavender birds with the dark striping from the silver spangled hamburg. And they are twice as flighty as a normal leghorn.:ya:ya:ya:oops:

Have you tried a bucket trap? There's a stick with peanut butter on top of a bucket with water, the stick spins, so when they try to eat the peanut butter they fall in and drown. Haven't tried it myself but heard good things about it.

I make and use these too, but I use a pop bottle on a wire strung across the top of the bucket...They work wel, but have been going empty since

This was in my posting box when I got here...DID I forget to post it?
