A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

@duluthralphie If you want to do a sex linked cross, mate a Royal Palm tom with a Bourbon Red hen. All of the female offspring will be Golden Narragansetts carrying a hidden Black Winged Bronze gene and all the male offspring will be Red Bronze carrying a hidden Black Winged Bronze gene and a hidden narragansett gene.

Cool...Now if I only had a red.... LOL

I did forget or not know the RP carried the Narragansett gene. At my age it is hard to tell which.

I got 3 birds a while back. They are about 17 weeks old now...The lady hatched shipped eggs and all 12 hatched. :th

She was told they could be Red Bourbon, Standard bronze and saw palm. Seems like they are a mix.. Is the whiter one a sweetgrass or a calico, or what? not sure but looks like a hen still ... is the red one a rusty bronze? I think a jake....and I think the other is a hen and a bronze.
