Paul has been lokin for an old popup to modify for his new chicken tractor. We are goin in cahoots with a friend that raises angus beef for us to do him chickens when we do ours and he raises us a calf. It will be a few years before we are able put up fence so this works for us both. Love your idea!
Flashpoint.....that has a ton of possibilities! I like your idea. Could be a fun project!

The camper has electric, too. All the receptacles work, but I think the lights need new bulbs. Since my son and nephew are supposed to be running power to my big chicken shed/coop, I can have them place a camper plug in at the same time. As far as it goes, it even has an AC that works - might come in handy if the heat gets too bad on the turkeys.

I can cover any receptacles that would be in the actual coop area to keep the birds from messing with them.

The back of the camper was a pull out sofa and has two cabinets on either side. I figure that would make a good roost area with a 2x6 board across it. I just need to figure out how to make the lift up door on the outside work as an access point so it would be easier to clean out.

The front area where a table that could be lowered to make a double bed also has two large storage cabinets on both sides. Those would hold a lot of "stuff", plus room for a 55 gal drum or two for feed. And, there is a large 8' x 2.5 foot x 2' high shelf above all that.

That doesn't count a closet with a door and the space where the fridge used to sit. Might be able to make that particular space a nesting area. Not sure yet. I just need to keep the sink area open for me.

Plus, there is the bathroom that would make another "closet". I reckon I could take the door off of that and use it as my entry point into the coop part.

Oh, the possibilites indeed! :D
