A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Note from @JRNash

He said it's hard to imagine the water being up to the board on his fence and his truck under water. But he said, "My poor truck. It gets submerged then used for an observation point for the turkeys..lol".

:lau on the turkey on the truck

I am down two turkeys from this morning and around 10-12 roosters.

I used the PVC cutter, it worked great on the chickens and the turkeys. I also used it to remove the feet...

My feed bill is less than yesterday!!!

Never under estimate how intellectually challenged a teen aged tom can be. The wilds have taught my Tom's a new trick. They can stand next to the fence and jump over it—but they failed to explain, it works both ways. So the Toms apparently have me trained as they'll walk up to the deck and hollar at me. I will walk out to the pasture and they'll gladly meet me at the gate and patiently wait for me to open it.

On the walk back, I see the teenager in the pig paddock. And of course he can't figure out the fence. So I walk in show him the open gate, does he exit.... Nope, instead he starts running laps. I pick him up to toss him to the other side of the fence and as I release him he grabs the top rail with both talons and proceeds to do a face plant on the other side of the fence. He hangs there for a minute or two, then flaps his wings until he's horizontal and hops off the fence. Then he flies back into the upper pasture.:barnie
