Watching it rain been a steady nasty rain all day.

Air temp is 36 yay. Above freezing.
But ground is frozen if it continues til dark gonna be any icy mess.

Truck drivers told me getting slick in a few spots already.

Was just looking at the radar....looks like an icey night to be had across Missouri. Want to go to Ste. Gen next weekend but there is a decent chance for snow. But with the weathermen's 30% accuracy rate...who knows! We did get above freezing today. Sort of that annoying misty rain off & on. But did get a lot of stuff done outside.

Turkey's a great help....goobers. Followed me around sticking their beaks in the middle of everything I was doing. Haven't been out doing much the last month. Too dark & cold. They really enjoyed puttering around today.

Our snow is still stickin round here. Mama keeps sayin it is stayin for more. Yuck! But more snow angels i spose. Our turkeys are still mostly nope birds... they come out of a mornin peck and root round and run amok for bout an hour then back in their pen they all go. I guess they haven’t gotten the memo bout how much turkey poop stinks and that they surely are smellin things up in their pen every single cold day now even though we are scoopin poop every day. Could they not have a place or two to do their business like the rabbits. It is not so much to ask right?

Just a funny on the buns.... our mini rex mama has babies under the dogloo right now. This is her second litter. First litter she had no problems us messin with her babies but they were in a box. This time we just let her jave at it under the dogloo. I got the brain idea to check on the babies night before last. Uhm yea... she went in kamikazi mama mode. Bit me three times before i could get the SIX hoppers back in the hole... do you even KNOW how stinkin hard it is to get SIX LIL HOPPERS in one hole with one hand? Welp... VERY! Lol. Then she growled, chased and hissed at me and anything that moved for bout five minutes after (i was doin water bowls in the other pen). All is well now and she just sits on her stoop when i come in watchin me. I learned my lesson so she doesnt need be givin ME the stink eye every day. Sheesh! I am the greens bringer of the party! And make sure their water isnt frozen solid.
