My daffodils are up. About 3-4 inches. Love the daffodils....gives me hope spring is on the way...

As I am sitting watching a blizzard dump more snow on top of the 4 feet already here.

And mud we have too. Rained all day yesterday. And now we have another cold front approaching. I think daffodils are my favorite flowers ....just when it seems winter is never ending...they show up to remind me spring will arrive...eventually.

They are one of my favorites too though lilacs have the #1 spot for me

They are one of my favorites too though lilacs have the #1 spot for me

I was lookin at lilacs night before last! I love them! I put in hydrangeas last year on the front of the house. I think i want the lilacs on the carport side. Right now there are fugly nonflowerin shrubs there. I would also love a gardenia... but not sure where they might like to be yet.

My favorite are the light purple lilacs. They each have a unique smell and I think the light purple has the sweetest I was thrilled when we bought our house to see a purple lilac in the middle of the front yard. Hubby hates it but knows I love it so it's not going anywhere lol.

I am also a lilac person. I wish I had them surrounding our yard and growing everywhere...
however, my birds like them so much I am afraid they will never spread as they lie under the lilacs and take dust baths.
