A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Aghhh!!! Its going down into the 20's Saturday night. OMG....I may need to find some gloves! Need to dig out the girls leggings & scarves. Panicking! We are so not prepared for anything below freezing.

Bundle up! I'm tired of freezing. There was a layer of ice on the cars this morning that I had to thaw off. I'm not looking forward to the snow that's coming our way this weekend :/

We're getting snow then
And the middle of the week it is going to be 20.. but - 20
I get to look forward to frozen eggs

We are getting rain. Luckily it will move out before the cold front arrives. I hope. I just cant get out as much as I want in the cold rain. Frustrating.
Of course I'll be complaining about the heat this summer too. I need to get over myself!
This time of year my girls are allowed into my yard. That's fun having them hanging out. Although they tend to hang out on the back porch waiting for me. Yelping & pooping.

My rant against the socialistic communistic overbearing thieves at the Federal Game and wildlife service is over now too..... @CindyinSD thank you for raising my BP 20 points

Oops! Sorry, Ralphie! Too much thinking about the gumment IS seriously bad for your health and mental wellbeing. Apt description, tho. Too true, alas.

The other day, I had someone barter some cases for quail chicks and turkeys poults....a few zip ties later, I now have a nice, turkey broody hut :) I like how it has two good sized doors on the side. Technically, it's meant to stand up and down but that's where the zip ties come in.... Extra strength!

Pebbles isn't thrilled with it yet but if she wants babies, she'll have to get used to it since she won't protect them. I figure I can use this to introduce new growouts too :)

Let Red into gp this mornin. After sister had her chat with him and pulled a few feathers out all was well. As soon as he gobbled three ladies squatted for him. It was too funny! He proceeded to do the deed as inexperienced as he was he didnt hurt the ladies. Yay! Then it was show ole Red the town.... bug and grass huntin. And the ladies took him to all their fav spots. Now it is lazy find a sunny spot and preen before dinner. He also had have a chat with the boy goats down the hill. Back and forth for a good twenty min. Goobers!
