I do not think so. I think it is just a quirk of your weirdo.Do turkey eggs have tryptophan in them? Like the meat? When my hound gets his egg....it knocks him out for a few hours. Or maybe it's just a full belly.
You can find all kinds of arguments for and against anything on the Internet. If it was just the big meal, other big meals would cause the same results.I read some allegedly scientific account regarding tryptophan in foods, claiming it's really just the big meal, that turkey is not high enough in tryptophan to make one sleepy...
If someone tried to force a glass of milk on me, they wouldn't like the results. Yes, I know that the sweetheart that you are that you were not forcing it on anyone.I used to give my sleep-deprived patients warm milk to avoid passing out so many sleeping pills. (Sometimes they make already disoriented peeps nutso, not to mention bad dreams, etc.) I can't remember ever having to give a sleeping pill to those who accepted the warm milk. I mentioned this to one of the doctors while discussing his patient's night and he promptly wrote out a prescription for L-triptophan. What was wrong with just giving her a glass of milk???
