I was just cleaning out one of my hurt turkeys bathtubs and seen a few red worms in the bedding. Do you know what type of worm it is??

Yesterday, I lost my Eve. She was my first, oldest, and sweetest turkey. She was 6 years old and will be terribly missed. She was down and out for about a week so I knew it was coming but it's still very difficult

Here, she was threatening someone for sitting on my lap instead of her. It was either Cuddles or Romeo.

This one is my favorite turkey picture of all time. She used to love to jump in the hammock with me, especially if I was trying to read.

Her two sisters Pebbles and Sweet Pea, who are only a couple weeks younger than she was, are still doing well.

My condolences, she was a beautiful lady. I love the hammock photo, so cute. May she rest in peace.

Sorry for your loss, at least you still have her sisters. I'm sure it is hard to loose your first and oldest. I know she had a good life.

What does it mean when a turkey "growls"? It sounds like Marge Simpson when she disapproves of something, like "mmmmmmm". Toms and hens both do it, but I don't know what it means?

If it's a long hmm and it's what I'm thinking it's the Arial predator alert. If they are looking at the sky with one eye or dashing for cover it's definitely that. Often females also fan their tails pointed down when threatened
