A Dangerous Topic - the new health care plan

If you can't see that these politicians are in the pocket of the insurance companies and any other business sector handing out money to help their own cause, i'm sorry for you. Keep your head in the sand. In the real world we will continue to see the disappearance of the middle class.

What we have is our fault because we let bureaucrats do our work for us as free citizens. YOU and I allow these so called representatives get away with it. And then to make matters worse when people do take a stand they are called names. Shame on us all.

When Obama was elected the people spoke, but that is not the only time people should speak. NOW that the majority of people are putting their foot down they are called haters, and mad because Obama got elected. Does not anyone realize that some of these people if not many voted for Obama. People voted for change(not seen yet) and got socialism and govt buying corporations even though an overwhelming majority was against it.

I think the saddest thing of all is that "they" want to impose the new system on "us", BUT, just like Social Security, "they" are not willing to live under the guidelines of the proposed system. "They" will continue to have their current system of healthcare....not the one imposed upon us.

NOW, if every one of the Congressmen/women, every Sentator was required to live under the guidelines of what they want to impose upon us, then I might feel differently AND, you can be assured that the proposed legislation would look entirely different!!

Do you think Ted Kennedy would have gotten cancer treatment/surgery under the proposed system? Surely not....he's "too old" and the treatment too expensive. BUT WAIT, he's a US Senator

Why should they be treated any differently than the rest of the US citizens???!!

At age 45 I'm hoping that I can out run most of the government socialism/communism that is rapidly coming at us.....BUT, I truly fear for my children. What will be left for them? A mountain of debt that can never be re-paid and taxes that will never allow them to live the life most of us have enjoyed.

My 2 cents.....

You're right when Obama was elected the people spoke. Do you forget Health Care Reform was at the top of his list? My problem wth the people putting their foor down is they're misinformed.

I already pay for my health care - I also pay for Medicaid/medicare. I will not be forced to pay for any more people's healthcare. I work for me and my family, not my neighbor.

My other point is that I have a hard enough time getting in touch with my insuarnce company to work out any issues. Imagine a government run insurance and contacting them to resolve anything.

The people have always been misinformed, it is just a matter of who is doing the lying. It is our responsibility to dig through the lies not taunt, mock, and call names. Their is responsibility that comes with freedom, relinquishing that responsibility to others give your freedoms to them.
