I have 5 ducks, and theyve always gotten along great. Now, for some reason one female has been singled out! She sstays to herself, but when one male gets a hold of her hea pulling all her head feathers out, attempting to drown her... i dont think this is just mating. She does lay, but this has gotten out of hand!!! She wont even stay in the pack anymore. What to do?!?!

Well, remember that her life depends on you. So separate her. Temporary fence can make a good divider so she can see the flock but not be harassed. Or you could separate her with a female buddy.

Or, better, separate the drake from the girls for a while.

Changing up the dynamics often improves things. But it is a try it and see kind of strategy - there is no way to predict exactly what will work best.

But always remember that the safety and health of each member of the flock depends on you.

Thanks for tge information! They are all free range, ill have to come up with a way to catch her, or him:)
