A few rain drops fell on eggs, still ok to eat?

Do you worry at all about the cold from the fridge constricting the egg contents and pulling in any nasties? Cold constricts, heat expands, etc...
Eggs at room temperature deteriorate in quality MUCH faster than fridge temp. In the fridge my unwashed eggs are as good as store bought EVEN when SIX months old. Most store eggs these days have an oil bloom added back onto them before going to market. You would be surprised to find out exactly how old they truly are.

The whole sucking bacteria thing in is when the eggs a certain temp and your wash water is another... can't remember the exacts.. but washing a cold egg in cold water doesn't do that. Also IMO it's that is more important to hatching embryo's than eating eggs.
