A green egg!

We got a very nice addition to our eggs today! One of our EE has laid her first egg! More to come! So exciting! Love seeing a new color.

Thank you! I'm a newbie and have all brown and whites. While I love them all it was neat to see something new! I never knew eggs were so pretty!

Not only do they come in all sort of pretty colors, some even with speckles, they also come in different sizes and shapes. I find store bought eggs sad because they are all the same.

I so agree! I'll never go back. Not only are they a riot to have... they feed us breakfast (or lunch... or dinner...) we don't have any crazy specialty breeds (yet.... I'm making my list) but we have a variety of browns and white. It was really neat to see a different hue.
