I don't think it's in the feather colors. I suspect my pullet might be mixed breed because she's lighter.
BUT she's feathering in darker than her down, so who knows? They're supposed to be siblings

I pay more attention to the feather development, rather than coloring. It's pretty obvious I have 2 fuzzy butts and 4 with big ole tail feathers!
