I have had ten hens for coming up on three years now, and in all that time only once have I gotten ten eggs in a single day. A few times I have gotten nine in their earlier, more promiscuous years, but the daily tally usually hung around 6-7. Just because a hen theoretically lays every 25 hours doesn't mean the hen ever read that theory.

I have 5 young cream legbar pullets and i have gotten 5 eggs a day from them many times, but they lay more regularly than other breeds. Still it’s much more often that I only get 4 eggs in a day.
If my bantam cochins and seramas laid so consistently, I’d really have eggs coming out of my ears!
