Hello, I need some help with figuring out if I have hens or roosters. I've been having the white one since it was a chick and I got the brown one three days ago. Up until today I thought the white one was a hen, but I heard a small crow. Assuming that it meant she was actually a he, I made plans to trade with the person who sold me the brown one. Being in denial (I'm extremely attached to that one) I Googled if hens can crow and read a few articles that said it's a possibility. What do you guys think? The white one, I rescued from a person who cared little about it. She bought it at the state fair for her childrens enjoyment and their cat almost killed it. My assumption is that it's 3 to 4 monthes. It can't be younger or older since I got it as a little soft chick 3 months ago. The brown one is confusing too. I was told she's a 5 months old hen. I asked on a Facebook group about her and half said hen and the other half said rooster. The majority told me she's a Easter Egger. Can anyone help me? Especially with the white one since I have 4 days before I do the trade. I'm sadden over it. Thank you.

right now might say both pullet but could use better photos not so close but more natural side photos

Can you show me a side pick of the white one, need to see the tail. Looks like a Cockerel to me though. The bottom brown one, not sure, but the tail has me thinking Cockerel as well. Hopefully I am wrong! None of my Hens crowed to my knowledge, but I've only raised chickens for three years. Not an expert.

Both look like Cockerels to me. Along with the developing comb you can tell by the legs. The long legs indicate male. Hopefully you wanted roosters or if you didn't I am wrong! Enjoy! Also the brown one is an EE and we had one that my daughter fell in love with and brought it in the house and took naps with it. Took on her bike and atv and it went on the swing with her. I have a video if you like.
if your interested. They make great pets.

I'm going to say the EE is a boy.

That dark red on the shoulder is male specific unless it's all over the body. I also think I see saddle feathers coming in.

Do you have any idea on the breed of your white chick?
Sadly, I do not. I couldn't bare the thought of it being a kids toy and becoming a cat toy, so I took it in without knowing much about chickens. I just knew it was a check, it needed starter food and that I had to keep it warm until the feathers grew out (that's when I bought the coop).
