My friend sent me this after the loss of my mom to cancer and I wanted to share it with everyone.

God saw that you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you
And whispered come to me
With tearful eyes I watched you
And say you pass away
Although I loved you dearly
I could not make you stay
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke my heart to prove to me
He only takes the Best

Thanks that reminds me of my mother in law that passed away from cancer just 2 weeks ago.

Wow, that poem touched my heart. My Mother passed away Sept 30 of Parkinson's and God was kind enough to allow me to hold her hand as she passed. It was a promise that I made to my Mother.
