I guess so but I might not post very often(@Hybridchucks wanna make a charrie and join?)
Mongoose felt thrill and terror flash through her all at once. I knew it! "This was planned!" She said suddenly. "I've seen many of those beasts in my lifetime. They stood in the jungle swaying like giant trees." She said. She opened her eyes wide. "They all left.. after the rain season." Dart perked his ears, standing up among the milling cats. "There going home too!" He said. The small thunderer.. he never went home.. he thought. The warm scent of milk and grain filled his nose. The smell of his home, his master.. they're getting closer.. but I'm getting farther away.. he looked at pebble and chipmunk. No! My family is right here! I'm not leaving at all! He thought, pressing close to the young cats as they began their long journey. A journey to the land beyond the horizon. (Should we have a them brace the perils of the journey for a bit?)"Thunderer Tribe never been to the jungle before," said Nile sternly. "But if the Thunderers take us there, let it be." There was suddenly trumpeting from the Thunderers. They were southbound, back to the nightmare that she had been living in.
(yep! It might take a little while though, they have to cross the desert.)(So you mean Sun and Mongoose are going back to the jungle?)
(Ok. Just those two or Dart, Pebble, and Chipmunk?)Mongoose felt something she hadn't felt in a long time. Relief. The churning of fire in her belly suddenly stilled. I haven't abandoned you.. im coming to save you. She thought. the fear that gripped her was nothing compared to the wheight that had clung to her in her trek across the desert. They had left the savanna now, their pads stinging as they returned to the burning sands. Dart pushed his forehead into her shoulder briefly as the walked. She felt a twinge of affection for the young cat, mouse brained as he could be at times. "You've grown up." She said, remembering the soft, small cat that she had driven away the vultures from. Pride shone in his amber eyes at her praise."But don't let it go to your head." She snapped, cuffing dart lightly over the ear. "I'm not!" He called, catching up to pebble and chipmunk.
