A word of advice regarding lap chickens

Um...if you have lap chickens and walk into the run with a big piece of leftover french toast and sit on the feed bucket, MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT WEARING SHORT PANTS.

Ouch.

But it is good to know that I have two willing lap chickens!

I have pants that I put on to check the chickens in the morning before I get dressed for work. My DH, on the other hand, keeps forgetting and ends up pecked, scratched, or pooped on. ;-)
