Adding new hens to flock and how egg production is affected

I added two new hens to my flock of 5 about 3 weeks ago. The new girls have yet to lay a single egg. I know that new hens will stop laying for a while, but how long is normal?

I don't think there is a normal. The time it takes to get back to laying depends on the trauma of their move. Some take it well and others don't. I have had them lay in days and others in weeks.

Usually they will resume laying within a couple of weeks.
