Adult food

So, just let them eat whenever they want? How do I leave the oyster shell out for her to free feed but keep him out of it?? That is my dilemma cuz they love each other so, they are seldom apart!

Your Drake will be fine if he eats some oyster shell. Wont be an issue.

Ok, everyone! I will do it as advised!

Now, to make sure the dogs don't eat the food! Oh, or the goats!

Thanks for the help!!

I was wondering how the ducks (and our general pet fowls) would know what is the thing they need to eat to get more calcium, but I guess it might have to do with taste. If a drake doesn't eat the oyster shell but a duck does, then it might be related to the taste of some kind of food that the female needs at that time.

Drakes eat the oyster shell...Like dogs eat horse poop or what ever. No animal will over eat something they do not need...No worries.
