Advice for winning my ducks over?

I was just giving my ducks a bath and had a fun idea: ducks love water, therefor it will be easier to train/tame. I gave them a little plastic cup in the bath for them to play with. I also( here comes my idea) had a little cloth with a tag on it(the tag can not come off). I would drag it around in the water. This gets them warmed up to your hand, but they have a fun cloth to case around .
*NOTE: How old are your ducks? They really need to be a week till they swim. So this might be a activity for when they are older.

They are a month old today, and Cayugas. I took them outside again Sunday while I was finishing up their coop and just sat with them while I enjoyed a beer break. They still won't come up to me unless I have tomatoes(their favorite treat) but they did settle and lay down instead of remaining on high alert.

I put them in the bathtub and utility sink on several occasions for baths and they love it. Maybe I will try those tricks because they certainly are the happiest when they are splashing around!
