Advice needed for a bad situation

Penny had her first snow experience today! She came running to the front of the coop to come out, saw the white stuff, halted, and was unceremoniously shoved out the door by the others who had some snow experience at the very beginning of winter when Penny was still a 'house chicken.' I'm also in the process of putting up a run for the chooks, so pictures tomorrow! And, it's very possible Penny laid her first egg for me today.

She is :) She even lets Honey mate with her now, although this gets Honey in trouble with Apple, the big roo XD

So glad the hen is doing well and happy, good to see her outside being a chicken. Any news on the rest of the critters in your friends room?

She's certainly acting happier! We've had a warm break in the weather and the snow is finally melting, so her and the rest of the flock are having a good time - although they are talented at getting muddy, I will say that. She's learned to appreciate bananas like the rest of the birds over here. She still doesn't really seem to know what to do about my ducks, though

No eggs yet, but she's happy and healthy so I'm sure come spring she'll give me lots, and she'll probably raise some chicks for me too. If that's the case, I'll have to post pictures for you all!
