Afraid to go to sleep.

So I lost my first chick ever today. Granted I have only raised 34 others at this point but still. I got 6 more and 1 died from unknown causes and I feel horrid. I can't stop checking on them. The other died so fast with no symptoms that I am afraid if I even nap one will die before I wake up. I should have bought some dr pepper for tonight. Its going to be a long one.

This happens.

I lost one out of four about 6 weeks ago. I don't know what happened. It was fine one day, gone the next. The others are all OK. This is my 4th year with chickens, and I know they can die suddenly

I know it can happen I just feel like if I am awake I can prevent it this time. The single time I did not wake up every couple hours to check and one dies.
