After raising poultry are eggs ruined for you guys?( I raise ducks but this occurs to anybody)

ok So I should have no worries that the eggs on my counter are going to turn to ducklings!

Not unless your counter is a steady 99-101 degrees. Eggs are designed by nature to remain in suspended animation for a good month or so as long as the temperature remains between 35-80 degrees roughly.

Today my ducks laid 6 eggs that was 4 Runners and 2 Buffs and one measly chicken egg. Lol after about a week of 2-3 eggs per day I was really surprised to see those 6 eggs.

That is good! I think most of my girls are on a break. I really only get 1 a day.

I never ate a whole lot of eggs to begin with so it isn’t like I have changed that. My husband and daughter eat the majority of our eggs that we keep for ourselves. The rest of the eggs we sell to my husband’s coworkers.

Funny! I feel bad cuz my girls are working so hard for me....but I just can't do it!

I really enjoy them in baking more then right on a plate in my face. I really think I am 1. picky, and 2. they are kinda sorta my ducks babies ish so I kinda get that in my head...and it makes me sad.
