she's extremely sweet and inquisitive (unlike my nasty old white leghorn lol!) and if i sit down she'll come over and lie down next to me with her head on my foot and sun or dustbathe! if your serious about that i can send you some hatching eggs in the spring

Definitely a mystery, but she doesn't look anything like a leghorn to me - wrong body type and comb is way too small. I would have to say a Black Sexlink, except that they are supposed to lay brown eggs. Her ears are red, which also means she should be laying brown eggs. Is it possible someone played a joke on you and put a white egg in the nestbox? Are you still finding white eggs that you believe belong to your mystery hen?
