This is the egg (picture taken prior to incubation), is it possible that because I had it on its side for 24 hours before incubation, the air cell developed this way?
Also, I just candled it again and saw that the air cell extends to the side of the egg too, but it's not saddle shaped.
The chick is quite active and moving around on the large end of the egg, it's been there since 2 days.

Did you know the egg spins lengthwise right before it come out of the hens vent? I wonder if the ones with air cells on the wrong end either don’t spin, or maybe it’s just a freak thing that happens sometimes.
