I posted them on craigslist for $10 each. The smaller ones I sold for less. I still have more than I need but I'll wait til they grow out a bit more. The folks that bought them wanted them for dinner. That works for me.

There were two buyers. One was Asian and the other looked like Pacific Islander. Both were very nice.

Are any of you guys familiar with Cottonwood Creek Farms? I'd like to buy from them, and it doesn't hurt to ask around, y'know. They're out in the valley. Our coop is done! Just finishing touches to be completed now. Whew!
BB, I'm happy for you, that you've got your coops finished, too!
I'm glad it stopped raining...hopefully there will be a good straw harvest.

They are in Wasilla. I looked them up and they have a little website. They sell goats and honey as well. I'm just looking for good hens from good people...you never know!

However, one of my favorite chickens was an Ameraucana I bought from some people who had been keeping her in a wire cage in their garage.
