Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

lol, me too! I'm so very excited about our new additions. I would like a variety. Like three pullets is such a huge amount, right? But I'm happy with any. Three is better than none, imho!

I got my Brahmas from them, they would probably be a good choice for older pullets that are near point of lay. My Brahmas were pretty crowded in the brooder when I got them a month or two ago and so had some pecking issues, but the other breeds were all kept outside. They seem well cared for, were healthy, and Mike and Suzy are wonderful, interesting people. I think they had Australorps, RIR, New Hamshires, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Jersey Giants (maybe?), Buff Orpingtons...oh, and the Buff Brahmas. As I recall, they ordered in the spring from Ideal.

It's a beautiful day for a drive!

I was wondering about that when I saw him the other day. Never heard of a white Orloff, but he definitely had the puffy cheeks and everything...what other breeds does the breeder have? Has he or she ever had a white chick pop up? I'm sorry you still don't seem to have your mahogany.

Thank you for the info, I had just about decided to go there for our new little girls. They are close to laying, being about 18-20 weeks or so. We'll be going out there on Saturday. I'm so happy!
