My New friend who is hatching Pendesenca eggs for me.......

The other lady is coming to pick up the remaining 6 Ducks in less than an hour.

They were developed in Norway around the early part of the last century. They wanted a winter hardy egg layer that was an easy keeper. They are also colored for camouflage to give them some predator defense. i got my eggs from Rosemary in Montana who thought they would be a perfect breed for Alaska. We're going to find out! She did say that they are prodigious layers of large pale ivory eggs.

Deb I graduated from Chugiak.....Back when it had 450 students total and that was only because the 8th grade was in it too!
