Yup she is pooping, but it's mostly white. I think she is drinking, but I haven't actually SEEN her drink.

Thanks Pandora

That's probably because she's not eating.

The yogurt is still your best bet. Or cottage cheese... anything with probiotics in it. I can't remember if you said she was separated from the rest of the "herd" or not? If not, I would put her in her own cage/kennel so you can monitor what she eats, drinks, and poops. Eventually the blockage will break up, and the massaging will help.

WW, it sounds like you're doing alot for her. Most people wouldn't care.
She probably shouldn't eat anything solid until you know if her crop is emptying. (Just my opinion, I am in no way an expert.)
Yogurt, oatmeal, like Tori said, but she might not be eating because she thinks you're gonna make her puke again, lol.
One way to at least make sure she's getting fluids is to dip her beak once in a while. I don't think it could hurt her...

Honestly, I'm just flapping my gums, I just want your girl to be okay, and those are things I'd try if she were mine.

Probiotic food choices include miso soup, some soft cheeses, yogurt products like kefir, sauerkraut and many pickles. Those who feel probiotic food is beneficial are now also interested in prebiotic food. It does not generally contain bacteria but appears to help healthy bacteria grow in the intestines. Prebiotic foods include Jerusalem and regular artichokes, oats, honey, many fruits, and goat’s milk. Human breast milk is also thought to have prebiotic properties that may explain why it so benefits the human newborn.

Yup she's in chicken jail by herself. On newspaper so I can monitor poop, puke and if she's eating.

I don't think I have cottage cheese either...

Normally we have one or the other here, but of course not when we NEED it. I do have some Havarti cheese... it's one of the better kinds - I might try that.

She's really POed that she's by herself and is doing alot of pacing... I just figure that will HELP with the food movement... but I could be wrong.

I will have hubby make a small batch of oatmeal tonight. By then she'll be pretty hungry as she hasn't had any food since last night.

Thanks for all the info

Just take the plain dry oatmeal and throw it in the blender. Or a coffee grinder. Let her eat it raw.

I think she'll be ok...
