All-ages appropriate Writing Club!

Okay, I had a major breakthrough for this story!
If anyone is familiar with the storyline or remembers who Kanon and Kei are, that's great! Then you will understand this.

I was watching a Christmas movie tonight about a couple who could not have children, and an angel in disguise was incorporated into the movie. Anyway, it inspired me and helped me discover a background story for the baby that was abandoned.

The Police ended up taking the baby from Kanon, much to her dismay.

Kanon and Kei don't know why they were the ones to find a baby on their doorstep, right? Well, in my AU of craziness, Kanon does not have a chance at having her own baby. (Strangely the lady in said Christmas movie cannot either) So, what if the baby Kanon and Kei found was a blessing, and what if whoever left the baby was an angel?

(And the police cannot quite track down an angel can they?)
I've had the idea of an all falconry based anime and or manga. :D

I'm focusing more on personality than looks, but thank you! Honestly, I don't even know what some of my chars. look like
Personalities are always fun! Along with looks. The two go hand in hand if you think about it.

I have quite a knack for figuring out the personalities of characters before reading about them. ;) I like to get in deep into characters' backstories before writing about them. Make sure everything about them is correct.

It is fun! But sometimes difficult. I struggle with making each character unique and giving each a good character arc and backstory. In my story there is a main character, a couple super close friends, and six or seven others who are important. Any tips?

I get super into the backstories. Looks I usually are decent with, but personalities besides short, basic descriptions take more work. Like, I know Tatiana is shy and hates most of the customers at his work, but I have to consciously remember that when I write from his point of view. And Roman is a playboy who doesn't seem to like hearing people say no, but I have to actively remember not to make him go soft
