My experience with Wyandottes is mixed ~ which is why you are both sort of right, @BY Bob & @WhoDatChick. All my Wyandotte bantams have been super sweet. Lottie, Alpia & Wrold are all Wyandottes. My only GLW was Gloriana & she could be really mean. Portia is a SLW Frizzle & not mean @ all. Shuri is a GLW Frizzle, also not mean. I don't think Gloriana ever reached Sansa's level of mean. Most of the bantams could put her in her place. So for me it's the Goldies to be beware of.

Ya know, that’s exactly what I was thinking! And I don’t mean just for Wyandottes either... I was wondering this.... about the gold lacing.. cuz Poppy is a gold laced EE and she’s a total witch!!! It may be weird to think that color could have something to do with it but it sure makes me wonder!

Like saying redheads have quick tempers. The problem is it doesn't hold across the board. My Golden Campines were always sweeties. I'm not sure about the Vorwerks yet. I have one who has a cat fetish & attacks them @ every opportunity.

I get it. I ran into a friend I haven't seen in a while & found out she's got into chickens too so we decided to swap pics. While she was oohing & aahing over My frizzles & Japs She showed me her ~ RIRs!!! Now there's a breed I just wouldn't keep. Yes, I know people with lovely ones but a mean one has no counterparts!

But Maggie is a RIR and I love her to bits!
