If that's how it turns out, I hope the provider sends her a nice cheque to compensate for the inconvenience.This is my fear as well. She is fairly rural and may be among the last to have power restored.

I went to the power restoration web site for LA today and they are showing dates out through the end of September. Does anyone know if WhoDat ever mentioned which parish she was in? Maybe right before the storm.
My worry meter is off the charts right now and I'm trying to reassure myself.
