The Chick-Inn update… having to wash the eggs because they are laying in the worst spot

See egg on top… that’s how filthy they are… that one goes to the dog as it’s cracked too also the one next to it… I dropped that one

Had a probable hawk attack today… heard a ruckus earlier… lots of crows and mine were making what sounded like the egg call so I didn’t think much of it… went out this evening to find everyone hiding.. and I mean hiding! And a pile of feathers in the yard… did a quick head count and all were accounted for
I could tell the feathers were from my Salmon Faverolle and could see that Favor was a bit ruffled… but she seems fine… I checked her over as best I could but I think I will try again tomorrow… I didn’t see any apparent wounds
I wonder if Peanut fought it off
