Yes, for sure… it is sad because he cry’s for me when I go near cuz he’s all alone… and today I tried to put them together and they were locked on each other! So if I had put him down they would’ve definitely started fighting! I posted him on a FB group in my area… maybe someone will take himOh no! That is horrible.
I don’t have any experience so can’t be of any help but if they went at each other when in that sort of state I guess they really have to stay separated.
So sad.
Is he nice towards the pullet chicks? Maybe one of the little girls can keep him company?Yes, for sure… it is sad because he cry’s for me when I go near cuz he’s all alone… and today I tried to put them together and they were locked on each other! Clip the hook portion off the top beak. This way they are not able to harm each other. No guarantee, but worth a try. Then file the top clipped portion with an emery board, or sandpaper, so the edges are rounded. Use people nail clippers if handy.

I do such to my more aggressive hen, so she does not harm my baby Serama. Serama is full grown,, but the bottom of pecking order, and tiny.
I do reclip it as it grows back. Chicken is able to drink, eat, but not able to grab feathers out with beak like that.

The black line shows where to clip. The hook portion gone, then no more weapon.
Apparently not the way I do it. I don't cut into the quick. Just in the nail type portion of beak. But painful!
Lots of nerve endings in the beak.
