All our flocks are locked up inside and we both hate it!

I'm sure once it's all finished, you will be happy you did it all the way you wanted and everybody and everything will have forgotten they were locked up for awhile. I know what you mean though, Mine are all penned waiting on the guineas to start laying in the next boxes.

Mine are cooped up too, but for a different reason. (and by their choice) We've had 2 weeks of really heavy rain storms (some days snow) and the poor chickens don't even get to dry out. It's very unusual for us to have this much rain (and snow) at once. And the next 10 days of forcast calls for more rain every day with only 1 day that it's not supposed to rain.

Please tell me you have some help with all this hard labor! In the nicest possible way, I am begging you not to take this on alone. You may well be up to the physical side but if my husband tried this after your adventures this spring, I'd lay him out with a shovel.

Take good care!

ummm, sorta what Terra said except she was holding a skillet instead of a shovel.

A buddy of mine is doing most of the work, I'm just trying to do what I can.
According to him that consist mainly of getting in his way and on his nerves.
