Our hen, the one that prolapsed twice, just laid her first egg in 2 months! I have been watching her carefully to make sure she is not in any pain or danger. She now lives in a separate coop with access to plenty of oyster shells - she lives a comfortable life. I really thought she would never lay another egg.
