Am I Out Of My Mind? Driving from South Florida to Arkansas for a bird

We are soooo looking forward to this trip! My son was originally disappointed, but when we gave the birds their shots again this morning, he looked at me and said " Mom...ya know we are kinda lucky these showed signs of the head cold the morning we were planning to leave, because Dave (my husband) would have been lost, and we probably would have had to turn around anyway"

My DH is clueless with the birds, scared of then too....although he likes them.

I guess, Everything happens for a reason!

@Steve- The yoki's are so gorgeous!!! and If you keep temping me with those mini's and my daughter signs on here and see this post....I will be in soooo much trouble!!
