Ameraucana big crop

Is she caged within the coop or run with the others? That would be better for her happiness. If you a let her out with them some daily, and pull up the food so that she doesn’t gorge, she would stay a part of the flock. You can make a homemade crop bra by using tube socks. There are all sorts of ideas. If anyone around you can sew, that is another option. Also don’t forget to try the yeast cream orally.

I have brooders that are installed in my coop. But I’ll do that, I’ll keep here here to be more controlled for a while at least 7 days while I treat for yeast and let her out when I get back from work to socialize and I’ll work on supporting her crop hopefully it comes sooner than the 7th I’m really not crafty lol

She is so annoyed…. I want to do home surgery on her…..her back end is getting pretty messy too, I can hear her breathing. I almost want to try an anti biotic to be honest to clear an infection and then treat sour crop. I wasn’t consistent with seven days tbh I was good for 4 days, starting over.

Nothing helped her, but she is still alive! every so often she gets a stool softener and locked up, that helps her and her friend chicken nugget. She is still wearing her bra. All these ameraucanas have an issue with their crop except one. I think it’s a breeding issue.
