I love his color...I have a Dun project going with the ameraucana.
They're actually phoenix / ameraucana / grey junglefowl blends.
This is the best rooster. At least he is the only one with beard and muffs,

Since there is a interest in laced I will try to get some pics soon.Have a few F1 crosses.Denise at paradise found farm is interested and encouraged me to start this project.Hope to get some to her in the spring.I used golden laced wyandotte cock over some buff project hens.Some are golden laced.1 cockerel is silver laced/golden laced split.Looks silver laced.yes, yes you do want to work on them
Here are some photos of the F1 generation of the laced project.A late hatch so they still have some growing to do.Thinking of using these with blacks to get some size into this project.The wyandotte was a bit small as were the buff hens used.
Yes I was surprised to get any lacing.I thought there would be no laced birds in the first cross.
