    Oh they are so "beardy"! Too cute.
    The roo I have with the pale yellow has it above his wings, which makes me think that in that case it's not from the sun. I can't be sure about your guy, but he is handsome [​IMG]

    Hey Happymtn, the pullets we hatched out this year using the rooster we hatched from eggs you sent us last spring are laying now and the egg is a blue/green color.

    Hens and Roos- that's great! Not bad for free eggs, eh? I posted a pic of his dad a few days ago and everybody eally liked him. Does he have a black beard?


    Admhotel- its one of my "delarock" projects. I was going to grow them out for meaties but they are so darn CUTE! (Heritage Del over Blue Barred Rock x Delaware)

    Horizontal to the ground being 0, then straight up would be 90, so 45 would be half way between horizontal and straight up.

    or when the minute hand of a clock is between 7 & 8
