OMG, LOVE the pictures! I love the sawmill and the kid ones. So cute! I'll post a pic of mine, but it lacks that kind of creativity.

Does anyone have a LF black rooster or 2 for sale? I'd need him shipped (I have boxes) unless you are extremely local. Must be correct, with NO leaking, and from nice blue eggs, please. PM or email me if anyone can help me out!

I'm sure that has something to do with color or breed standard or something, but that sounds a lot more ominous than I'm sure it is.

Hi all. Since your posting LA chicks, I'd post a few of the one LA chick that I got from Ray an Deb. I am confused as to what sex she is and I have been going back and forth with an answer so I thought I would ask the experts. She is a clean faced LA.
At one week old

She has no tail feathers yet but she does have a tail lol.

I am going to say "boy", because the comb is visible and a bit pinkish, and also the lack of tail feathers. My girls always have them right away, and the boys are slower. Such dainty little legs though- I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Yeah the feet had me stumped too. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it lays an egg or crows lol. Thanks so much.

x2 on the boy vote. I have had boys with dainty legs too....

I wish I could say the same. With the breeds I have the males all had big legs lol. I guess I'll have to check out bargans new lav. amer. auction, just got a pm, and get him a few girls Thanks so much for the info. Any more votes out there?

You'd be best off getting ameraucanas from an ameraucana breeder. You can find a list of breeders here: www.ameraucana.org.
