Tough one... but *I think* that looks like a sickle feather in the tail... my guess would be cockerel, but not 100% sure...

Oh man! I can't stand this not knowing! It's driving me crazy! I specifically picked out this chick even though she (the breeder tried to sex her for me) was several weeks younger than the other for chicks I was getting and would need a heat lamp (dead of winter). I've been absolutely in love with the coloring! But I already have a rooster that is a good boy! What oh what am I gonna do! (Please be a girl, pleaser be a girl!)

Of course!! Just hoping these are fertile... Balthazar took a severe disliking to JB (surprise, surpise) even though he's 2 pens away... injured his beak on the fence so he hasn't been up on his game... he's doing better now though, and he is so sweet!!

Gorgeous!!! And love your Wheaten boy!!!

She sure produces beautiful Am's!!!

Thank you! and yes she does! I wasn't sure on the Wheatens at first but now they are my favorite. I went back and forth on getting some. I am very glad I got them and even more so that I got them from Susan! She is the best and has Awsome Ameraucanas! Very nice Lady! Just don't tell her I said that it might go to her head!

Do any of your Ameraucana pullets have a thicker pea comb, or are the pullets' combs always almost non existent? This is my 14 week old Splash and I'm trying to figure out if she is a she or he. I have a 30 week old Blue pullet who has a smaller pea comb than this younger one.
That's a cockerel.

I'm going to go out to take some pictures of my cockerel. I hope to get some honest feedback about him. He's 25 weeks old and seemingly blossomed overnight! His muff is way fuller and tail as well. Looks much better than he did at 13 weeks (thank goodness! LOL) but here's the 13 week pics I posted earlier in the thread for comparison. I'll be back in a few to post updated pics.

Here's a pic of my pullet as well. Same age 13 weeks. I will post updated pics of her too, for feedback for those interested.
