I remember you once telling me that you are lucky to get one good looking roo out of every 30.

For me I think it's more than that... I got a decent one from halo's eggs... that came from yours, but he has a little too much blue/black in the hackles... blue lacing is awesome, tail is good, legs are dark blue... guess I'll keep him anyway because I think Geoffry is not doing his job very well anymore.​

I have two pullets that are FBCM X Golden Cuckoos that are just gorgeous and I have a roo that I raised from ChooksChicks eggs (FBCM) that is over them now... can't wait to hatch out a couple of those eggs as they have just started laying.

I was able to get a BWMarans and a WMarans pullet to put under a WMarans roo that I got from Illia's eggs... hoping to eventually get a BWMarans roo out of the one pullet... I know it's only a 12.5% chance, but I'm going to try.

If you decide you're done with him, let me know. I think I would have better luck with fertility since the weather is not so hot 365/24/7 here. He can come back home.....

Ahhhh! Ok. So were the FBCM x GC sex linked? I want to put a GC roo over my black coppers and see what I get- hoping to improve egg color too. They are so hard to find!

As for the Ameraucanas- I have some Smith and Campbell line wheaten eggs hatching!!! I don't know which are which- but 1/2 of them have the prettiest egg color. (the others are pretty too, but they look like ones I already have) I haev lavs out already too and they aren't due til Monday.
